Tomorrow is My Dancing Day - Unused Introduction

The dark and the cold hide us all away and in the Winter it is easy not to be ourselves when the world is so harsh and survival so taxing. And yet, the day comes as the world turns where there is more light than darkness and there is the hint of warmth to be found, if you seek it.

And when this day truly comes for you, the light won’t blind and the warmth won’t be fleeting. Your heel will strike the earth like a dance floor and everything that you are will be there to be seen and felt without feeling your way down the safe path in the shadows or winding layer upon layer atop yourself to keep out the cold.

So, this is a date that cannot be set, a day that cannot be prescribed. Instead, we trudge through the cold and the dark until the day approaches and we consider: should we leave the path and go to meet the dawn? Or is this dancing day not ours?
